Where else can we got to in Seattle's downtown if not Pike Place Market? Finally, a picture with a girl! ==>
<== Delicious food everywhere!
This is the monk fish from Pike Place Fish Market... they're the guys that throw the fish around. We have a video of them throwing a halibut but it's like 200+ megs, I'll have to upload that one on youtube some other time. For now, enjoy the monkfish!.. ==>
<== Edit: Here we go, Thomas sent me his pics. This was a great shot of the halibut!
<== *new pic* - Gettin' peaches like it's my job...
Here we are enjoying some "Oh My God" peaches.... these lived up to their name... the biggest, ripest, juiciest, most delicious peaches I have ever had... I had like 4 of these.... ==>
<== And the seafood... here are some huge cups of dungeness crab... I had soooo many of these.... sooooooo gooood... there was ceviche and like fish cups and stuff too, but the crab was out of this world...
But this oyster shooter was almost too much for me... that huge thing is ONE oyster... I still don't believe it's an oyster. This pic is like me going "I can't believe I'm about to eat this..." and Joe going "I can't believe you're about to eat that...". It was delicious. ==>
<== Us at the first Starbucks!
Finally, a break from the eating... we're just hanging out at a small park near Pike, along with everyone else in the city apparently... sunny days are a rare commodity I think ... ==>
<== The guys go for a walk around downtown, going to places like Post Alley and all the other small districts. I wasn't there so I can't comment too much on it...
Because Ann and I went to have lunch with her friend Elbereth and her family... we had a great lunch.. ==>
<== Several hours later we somehow all end up at the Pike Brewing company with Christina and Greg... for some reason there seems to be a theme of food and drinking in Seattle..yay! >_<
I took a picture of a hipster in the wild here. He had amazing hair but I missed it in this shot. He wasn't very happy. Luckily no one had to fight any hipsters :D ==>
<== And sadly... near the end of the evening... our first road trip loss happens... Thomas has a flight out and we go to the hotel to get his stuff...
At the train station, waiting for the subway to take Thomas away. We hope you had fun on the trip Thomas, we definitely did, and we'll miss you! It's not the same without you! ==>
<== And we go back to Pike Brewery to finish the evening. Here Ann plays with my nappy and pathetic "mustache" or as I like to call it, "the greatest mustache ever." 2 and a half weeks baby, and going strong! That's it for now!
